Third Sector Fights Back
Now more than ever, nonprofits are critically important to protecting vulnerable people, the environment, and more.
MonkeyPod is committed to supporting that work through the Third Sector Fights Back grant program.
The Third Sector — the nonprofit sector — has always played a vital role in protecting and caring for vulnerable populations. When governments and market forces fail to protect people, communities, and the environment, the Third Sector has always stepped in to provide the support and resources needed.
In the uncertain political climate we find ourselves in, the work of the Third Sector is more important than ever, especially for organizations impacted by changing government policies.
That's why we created the Third Sector Fights Back grant program. From January 2025 through January 2029, MonkeyPod is providing $15,000 grants to nonprofits protecting politically vulnerable communities.
How it works
- A Third Sector Fights Back grant includes a four-year subscription to MonkeyPod at the Pro level, valued at $14,000.
- Awardees will additionally receive cash donations of $1,000.
- Each quarter we'll announce which issue area we're highlighting for those three months. Nonprofits working on those specific challenges are eligible to apply.
- Grants will only be awarded to nonprofits that are not currently subscribed to MonkeyPod.
- Interested nonprofits can apply using the form below. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and grants awarded each quarter.
Current area of focus
From January – March 2025, we're seeking applications from nonprofit organizations that support LGBTQ+ youth.
